摘要
This paper presents a successful and efficient control method of an autonomous robot that navigates efficiently through a maze using an improved contrast of black and white colours algorithm. The proposed algorithm develops the standard wall follower algorithm with a series of adjacent techniques based on a combination of standard left-hand and right-hand navigation rules. The robot has the ability to store the optimal path in its internal memory, after it reaches the designated destination at least once. The respective algorithm is implemented through a code in Arduino IDE. The architectural assembly of both hardware and software components implemented into the robot is based on the concept of artificial neural networks. It has been observed that this new complex algorithm has improved the robot's success rate at an efficient navigation through the respective maze.
