摘要
My robot is a battery-powered bulldozer controlled by a PIC chip and other circuitry, mounted on a breadboard. The goal of this project was to make my robot turn away from the wall as soon as it hit.In order for this project to work, I had to attach a to my robot. In other words, there is one wire going through a metal tube and when the wire going through hits the tube, it completes the circuit.Attached to the inside wire is some insulation in order to keep the wire from touching the tubing all of the time. One problem that I encountered while building the switch was making sure the wire inside the tube was not touching.Another problem was in the programming. My robot did not move away from the wall quick enough. I had to add many checks to my code in order to fix this problem. The actual switch is still a little testy. I have to make sure it is not touching before I start my robot.
