About

Seol-Ha Jeong is pioneering the next generation of intelligent biofabrication, merging robotics, computer vision, and advanced materials for transformative wound care. Her research centers on autonomous, in situ printing systems that create personalized, multi-material bioelectronics directly on the body. Jeong’s major contributions include the development of **INSIGHT** (Intelligent in situ printing Guided by Eye-in-Hand robot Technology), a system that uses a depth camera and a 6-degree-of-freedom robot arm to identify and print on arbitrary wound areas in real time. She also created **CARE** (Customized wound patch for Advanced tissue Regeneration with Electric field), an autonomous robot arm printing platform guided by computer vision for ultrafast manufacturing of wireless, stretchable soft bioelectronics. These innovations enable personalized, first-aid wound healing with unprecedented precision and speed. With her most cited works—published in 2024—already garnering 9 and 7 citations, Jeong’s impact is rapidly growing. Her work represents a paradigm shift from static, off-the-shelf dressings to dynamic, robotically printed therapies, positioning her at the forefront of smart biofabrication and personalized medicine.
