Misha Sra is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI), biotechnology, and artificial intelligence. Her work fundamentally reimagines how humans can interface with technology—not just through screens or wearables, but through living systems and predictive AI. Sra’s landmark paper, “Living Bits” (2020, 71 citations), introduced a paradigm-shifting concept: harnessing the trillions of microbes living on and inside the human body as biological computers.
