About
Luke Wood is a pioneering researcher in the field of assistive robotics, with a particular focus on developing and evaluating humanoid robot technologies to support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). His work centers on the KASPAR robot — a child-sized humanoid platform he has helped iteratively refine over more than two decades — exploring how robotic interaction can meaningfully improve social, communicative, and cognitive outcomes for autistic children.
