Kazuo Hiraki is a pioneering researcher whose work spans multiagent systems, developmental robotics, human-robot interaction, and neurotechnology. Beginning in the late 1990s, Hiraki made foundational contributions to multiagent research through the development of Soccer Server, a landmark simulation platform for evaluating cooperative algorithms that has accumulated over 220 citations and remains a benchmark tool in the field.
