About
K. Nishikawa is a robotics researcher whose work has centered on the development of anthropomorphic robots that replicate human biological mechanisms for speech and musical performance. Most prominently affiliated with the Waseda University research tradition, Nishikawa has made sustained contributions to the "Waseda Talker" (WT) series of talking robots, progressively advancing their fidelity to human vocal anatomy through innovations in artificial vocal cords, elastic tongue modeling, lip mechanics, and sensory feedback systems.
