Ioannis Konstas is a leading researcher at the intersection of natural language processing, robotics, and multimodal interaction. His work focuses on enabling more intuitive human-robot communication by grounding language in physical and spatial contexts. A key contribution is the development of richly annotated multimodal corpora, such as the ROSMI (Robot Open Street Map Instructions) corpus, which pairs natural language instructions with map-based visual data to advance visual-dialogue tasks.
