George Ebra is a leading figure in the advancement of minimally invasive surgical techniques, with a primary focus on cardiac electrophysiology and urologic oncology. His most influential work includes pioneering the totally endoscopic ablation of lone atrial fibrillation, a landmark 2006 study that has garnered 118 citations and helped establish a less invasive standard for treating cardiac arrhythmias. In the field of prostate cancer surgery, Ebra has made significant contributions by evaluating the safety and efficacy of robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) in challenging patient populations.
