About
Chuanbing Li is a materials scientist whose research focuses on the design and engineering of advanced carbon-based nanocomposites for flexible electronics and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. Li’s major contributions lie in structural engineering of graphite networks, achieving ultra-sensitive and durable strain sensors that also function as strain-controlled switches—work that has garnered 33 citations since 2022. More recently, Li developed highly stretchable and conductive 3D graphene skeleton/polyacrylamide/LiCl nanocomposite hydrogels, demonstrating exceptional performance in EMI shielding applications (2025, 9 citations). By integrating mechanical robustness with electrical conductivity, Li’s materials enable next-generation wearable devices and smart textiles. Their innovative approach to tailoring graphene architectures for multifunctional performance has positioned them as an emerging leader in the field of flexible electronics. Li’s work not only advances fundamental understanding of structure-property relationships in carbon nanomaterials but also offers practical solutions for durable, high-performance sensors and shielding materials.
