Christofer Adding is a Swedish urological surgeon and researcher at Karolinska University Hospital, whose work has fundamentally shaped the field of robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) for bladder cancer. His most significant contributions center on the development and refinement of totally intracorporeal urinary diversion techniques, particularly the intracorporeal neobladder — a technically demanding reconstruction performed entirely inside the body using robotic assistance.
