About
Bernd Radig is a German computer scientist whose research spans computer vision, autonomous robotics, and human-robot interaction — fields in which he has made lasting contributions over more than two decades. His early work focused on probabilistic state estimation for autonomous mobile robots, most notably through his development of cooperative vision-based estimation methods that enabled teams of robots to collectively model complex environments. This research, which garnered 123 citations, formed a cornerstone of his contributions to the RoboCup AGILO autonomous robot soccer team, demonstrating real-world applications of probabilistic reasoning and experience-based learning in dynamic, competitive settings.
