About
Pere Ponsa is a leading researcher in human–robot collaboration, with a focus on cognitive interaction, usability, and ergonomic design in industrial settings. His work addresses the critical challenge of balancing human and robot skills to maximize productivity while managing operators’ cognitive, physical, and temporal workloads. In his highly cited 2021 study on cognitive interaction analysis during assembly tasks (44 citations), Ponsa demonstrated how to systematically evaluate and optimize collaborative workflows.
