Abstract

Grass cutting is essential for maintaining the appearance and safety of lawns, gardens, and parks. However, traditional gasoline or electric grass cutters, including their air and noise pollution, hurt the environment. This research work has designed and constructed a solar-powered grass cutter that operates using renewable solar energy. The grass cutter consists of a motor, blade, frame, wheels, and solar panels that convert sunlight into electricity. This study has conducted testing to evaluate the performance of the solar grass cutter, including its cutting ability and energy efficiency. The results showed that the solar grass cutter was effective in cutting grass and had a comparable cutting ability to traditional grass cutters. Additionally, this use of solar energy reduces the environmental impact of grass- cutting by eliminating greenhouse gas emissions and reducing noise pollution. This project demonstrates the feasibility and benefits of using solar power for grass and provides a potential solution for more sustainable and eco-friendly lawn maintenance practices.
