Abstract

A holistic artificial muscle with integrated light-addressable nodes is presented by Yong-Lai Zhang, Cheng-Wei Qiu, Hong-Bo Sun, and co-workers through one-step laser printing in article number 1806386. Utilizing the synergistic effect of plasmonic AuNRs and thermally conductive graphene, a spider robot and artificial hand can implement dexterous motility that is reconfigurable through wavelength-sensitive light activation. The functionalized control of the soft robot is desirable for various applications.
