摘要
Industry 5.0 is a natural direction for the development of the current Fourth Industrial Revolution. With the new concept, we see the human factor returning to the production process. Industry 5.0 is a collaborative effort between humans and machines, specifically collaborative robots. As part of this cooperation, the machine would observe and interact with the human being in order to find the optimal solution where possible. The purpose of this chapter is to present the concept of a human-machine cooperation environment for the acquisition of innovations in the context of the Fifth Industrial Revolution. It examines two case studies; first, the manufacturing process of ready-to-assemble kitchen cabinets that uses a cobot at the completion stage, and the window manufacturing process that uses a cobot at the assembly process, sash and frame fitting, and glazing. The presented solutions utilize the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as the industrial internet of things, cloud computing and artificial intelligence, cyber-physical systems, Digital Twins, and Cobots. In this chapter, we are informed about the ways in which innovations can be acquired, along with the advantages associated with human-machine collaboration. Concepts developed in this chapter can serve as a platform for future research, as well as be an inspiration for future developments regarding production processes.
