摘要
A fully flexible sensor system for magnetic fields has been made from giant magnetoresistive devices conditioned by high performance InGaZnO-based readout electronics by N. Münzenrieder et al, and is reported in article number 1600188. Its record high gain of 48.6 dB, and signal-to-noise-ratio of 56 dB, enables the system to detect magnetic fields with a sensitivity of 25 V/V/kOe, surpassing the responsivity of commercial rigid magnetic sensor systems. This flexible system can operate as a magnetic proximity sensor or switch, and hence be used to realize conformal electronics or electronic skins, e.g., for robotic applications.
