Legged AI Lab
Founded at University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2023 and now based at Shanghai Innovation Institute, the Legged AI Lab develops mathematical foundations and algorithms for physical AI in robots. They bridge control theory, optimization, and machine learning to enable agile locomotion and manipulation.
