About
T. Inukai is a pioneering figure in industrial robotics, best known for spearheading the ORiN (Open Robot interface for the Network) project. His primary research areas center on network standardization, robot controller interfaces, and the integration of information technology with manufacturing systems. Inukai’s major contribution is the development of a unified, open network interface that allows industrial robots from different manufacturers to communicate seamlessly using standard PC and telecom technologies.
