Neri Oxman is a pioneering figure at the intersection of computational design, digital fabrication, and material science, whose work fundamentally reimagined how structures and objects are conceived and built. As the founder of MIT's Mediated Matter Group, Oxman championed the philosophy of "material ecology," seeking to harmonize built environments with natural systems through technology-driven creativity.
