Majd Sakr is a pioneering researcher in human-robot interaction (HRI), with a particular focus on how culture, politeness, and social context shape the way people perceive and accept robots. His work bridges the gap between technology and cross-cultural psychology, exploring how users from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds—especially Arabic and English speakers—respond to robot speech, appearance, and behavior.
