About

Liming Tao is a materials scientist whose research focuses on the design of advanced stimuli-responsive and bio-inspired polymers for smart materials and sustainable applications. Tao’s major contributions lie in developing shape memory polymers that respond to near-infrared (NIR) light, as demonstrated in their highly cited 2022 work on reconfigurable materials containing biphenyl units and graphene.
