Florinda Ferreri is a pioneering researcher in neuroprosthetics and clinical neurophysiology, whose work has fundamentally advanced the bidirectional interfacing of robotic limbs with the human nervous system. Her landmark 2010 study, cited over 395 times, demonstrated the first successful implantation of double intraneural interfaces in a human amputee, enabling real-time control of a robotic hand and sensory feedback.
