Elle Oj is a pioneering figure in the development of surgical training technologies, with a primary focus on robotic-assisted cardiac surgery and simulation-based education. Her foundational work, including the highly cited 2001 paper "Digital trainer developed for robotic assisted cardiac surgery" (14 citations), introduced novel training methods to address the rapid evolution of robotic systems in minimally invasive procedures.
