C. A. Balafoutis is a robotics and control systems researcher whose career has been defined by pioneering contributions to the computational modeling and dynamic analysis of robot manipulators. Working primarily from the late 1980s through the early 2000s, Balafoutis developed innovative mathematical frameworks that dramatically improved the efficiency with which robotic systems could be analyzed and controlled in real time.
