Dr. Alex Austin is a pioneering aerospace roboticist whose work focuses on developing miniature robotic systems for small satellite platforms and space debris mitigation. His most impactful contribution is the REMORA CubeSat concept, a feasibility study demonstrating how a small satellite equipped with an integrated robotic payload can rendezvous with, attach to, and track large orbital debris objects to prevent catastrophic collisions.
