Islam Fayed is a neurosurgeon and researcher whose work sits at the intersection of minimally invasive neurosurgery, pediatric epilepsy, and surgical robotics. He has made significant contributions to the advancement of MR-guided laser interstitial thermal therapy (MRgLITT) for medically refractory epilepsy, particularly in pediatric populations.
