About
Dr. F.J.W. ten Kate is a pioneering surgeon whose work has fundamentally advanced the field of minimally invasive oncologic surgery, with a particular focus on esophageal cancer. His most impactful contribution is the development and validation of robot-assisted minimally invasive thoraco-laparoscopic esophagectomy (RAMIE) with two-field lymphadenectomy.
