Carine Bruyninx is a leading figure in geodesy and climate monitoring, whose work bridges the gap between precise positioning and atmospheric science. Her research centers on the use of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) for high-accuracy geodetic positioning and, critically, for the retrieval of integrated water vapour (IWV) from ground-based networks.
