Abstract

Wastewater conservation is a burning issue around the globe. The wastewater from industries, known as blackwater, and from households, known as graywater, is directly transmitted into the environment, causing massive pollution in India. Because of the lack of environmental ethics, no strict penalties for violating environmental laws, poor utilization of sewage treatment plants (STP), and massive flow of untreated water, this problem is growing rapidly. As a result, the current wastewater treatment methods are unable to mitigate this problem. So, to overcome this issue, intelligent systems and robotics are used to make advanced machinery devices for wastewater treatment in an efficient process. A combination of intelligent systems algorithms, concepts of machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and data analytics (DA) is used to manage the overall treatment process and support according to user convenience. This chapter describes how to reuse the treated water efficiently using modern techniques.
