Research on Navigation and Localization Technologies for Mine Rescue Robots

Abstract

The significance of mine rescue robots' navigation and localization is introduced first,and most of the navigation and localization algorithms of domestic and international mobile robots are studied and classified according to the special environment in the mines.And the difficulties and problems existing in the present development of mine rescue robots' navigation and localization are indicated.Finally,the development trends of navigation and localization of mine rescue robot are proposed.
