Abstract
In order to provide an ideal test-bed for the development of intelligent bionic leg, a new pattern humanoid robot-biped robot with heterogeneous legs (BRHL) is proposed. The conception and research purpose of BRHL is expatiated. Function demand and bionics principle is introduced. Based on human bioscience, bionic design of dual legs is analyzed and virtual prototype is given. Bionic knee is discussed in detail. The research indicates that BRHL simulates amputees with above- knee prosthesis well and is an ideal test-bed of intelligent bionic leg.
