Abstract

In general, disaster is composed of complex situation. Firefighters is conventional to disaster response. They are always exposed to risky environments. Therefore, safer equipment and devices are developing for support them. We are developing some kinds of robot system in our development project. In this paper, the central monitoring/control system like a vehicle and its software configuration will be introduced. In order to prepare the further integration with many kinds of robot platform, the monitoring/control system has extensible structure in hardware and software and simulator with ROS (Robot Operating System) will be developed with three years. In this paper, the configuration and concept design is described.
