Abstract
The primary goal of this paper is to enable better interaction through virtual world input to control a robotic arm, enabling the users to interact with the real world and making the entire process user friendly. There are many kinds of arms which have been used for industrial purpose. The arm that is proposed in this paper is specifically designed to help the physically challenged. A normal person with an arm is different from the physically challenged persons who can be able to do his own work by himself. The proposed robotic arm serves to aid these people in helping them. Electronics, plastics, consumer goods and food are some of the areas in which the industrial robots find applications. There is also need for these robots in automotive industry and much work is concentrated in that domain in recent times.
