Intelligent diagnostics in robotics and integrated manufacturing systems

Abstract

A methodology is described for hybrid diagnostic search in computer integrated manufacturing systems with a two phase learning system to update the rule-based component. Initial testing with a prototype indicates that the approach is both effective and efficient.
