Diseño y construcción de un robot móvil orientado a la enseñanza e investigación

Abstract

The hardware and software design of a mobile robotic platform is showed, useful to education and research in algorithms of autonomous control or teleoperation vehicles. The robot is based on 16 bits microcontroller, MC9S12; has sensors of infrared light, ultrasound, illumination and encoders; in addition it counts on free ports for future expansions and a wireless communication system. The main characteristics of the constructed prototype are described.
