Abstract
The paper gives an overview of the cost-efficient integrated CACSD environment MaTX/RtMaTX. The software supports not only the analysis of control systems and the design of controllers, but also the real-time implementation of controllers. MaTX/RtMaTX is distributed as a free software and is used in many universities and several companies, mainly in Japan. The author focuses on the applications in some fields, such as robot motion control, visual simulation, mathematical modeling with symbol manipulation, economics, and education in control engineering.
