摘要

Summary
Although integrating multiple functions into a single optoelectronic device is crucial for the development of next-generation optoelectronics, different functions often have conflicting requirements, making multiple-function integration quite challenging. Here, we report the monolithic integration of self-powered photodetector, artificial synapse, and light-emitting diode (LED) in a multifunctional micro-device. By manipulating the carrier transport dynamics through controlling the bias voltage, the three functions of the micro-device can be switched efficiently. Notably, a unique system of humanoid intelligent robot has been set successfully, which combines three key functions of light detection, neuromorphic computing, and display. By leveraging the multiple functions, the micro-LEDs have been applied to guide humanoid robots in performing information recognition and motion learning, which can lower the complexity of overall artificial-intelligence (AI) system. The systematic integration of detection, display, and AI technology provides new insights into upcoming advanced and versatile systems.
