摘要
Manufacturing has changed dramatically with Industry 4.0. The proposed shift integrates digital technologies and automates manual tasks. Industrial productivity, operational efficiency, and adaptability have improved with Industry 4.0. This trend has accelerated with Industry 5.0. The notion of “Industry 5.0” includes advanced artificial intelligence (AI), human collaboration, and high-tech robotics. Technology has improved many elements of today’s lives and deepened on relationship with technology. Intelligent systems coordinate production processes using AI, machine learning, and the Internet of Things. This method improves production processes’ adaptability, resilience, and agility, allowing them to meet different client needs. Industry 5.0 emphasises a symbiotic and mutually beneficial partnership between humans and machines. Factory workers are expected to participate in the production ecosystem as well as operational activities in modern industrial settings. Technologies are used to improve and streamline processes, which allows us to make real-time choices and solve more complicated problems. Also, smart technology has improved quality control and personalisation in several sectors. These technologies improve product quality and ensure they meet the highest requirements. Smart technologies also allow manufacturers to customise their products to match specific users’ needs. This revolutionary strategy highlights seamless integration of human and technological knowledge to boost productivity and efficiency. Industry 5.0 will enable a new era of collaborative manufacturing by combining humans’ creativity, problem-solving, and adaptability with intelligent systems’ precision, speed, and data processing. The present work focuses on the concept pertaining to Industry 5.0, wherein the notion of collaborative work between robots and humans is put forth as an alternative to their conventional competition. The present investigation also explored notable aspects of Industry 5.0 and potential obstacles that may be encountered by manufacturers or society and humans. Moreover, it expounded on how intelligent systems have changed traditional manufacturing systems and how they will impact sustainable environments and the world.
