The petroleum and petrochemical intelligent inspection and fire extinguishing robot has been developed to address the pain points in daily inspections and initial fire extinguishing disposal in the production and operation sites of the petroleum and petrochemical industry. It can independently track and locate oil and gas fires and track and extinguish them in all directions. The robot has excellent performance such as intelligent autonomous inspection, accurate risk identification, remote collaborative and efficient fire extinguishing, and self-adjustment of fire extinguishing angles, and is “integrated with fire extinguishing and patrol”, Timely identify the fire source during the inspection process and effectively track and extinguish the fire in the early stages, reducing the possibility of accident expansion. Based on the developed intelligent inspection and fire extinguishing robot, a pilot application was carried out in the oil tank parking lot of a certain oil depot. 15 inspections and self-tracking fire extinguishing operations were conducted, and the success rates of flame detection, identification, and self-tracking fire extinguishing reached 100%. The research results have certain practical significance for improving the level of intelligent, unmanned, and lean safety management in oil and gas places.
