Development of underwater wet welding and underwater welding robot

As the resource of energy, food and raw material, ocean had attracted more and more attention of researchers all of world. With the increasing of ocean engineering, underwater welding technology improved greatly in recent years accompany. Underwater wet welding was focused here at first, newly developments, including special wet welding electrodes and sensors were introduced. In the second, attention was concentrated on underwater welding robot, current progress on relative aspects of underwater welding robot-mechanism design, sealing method, long distance communication and remote control were put forward, and it was pointed out that developing welding robot was inevitable when men come from shallow water to deep water.
