摘要

In article number 2007749, Qinchuan Li, Jong-Oh Park, Eunpyo Choi, and co-workers design a novel ionic bioartificial muscle based on ionically crosslinked polypyrrole-coated functional carboxylated bacterial cellulose. The actuator demonstrates high electromechanical performance, including large peak-to-peak strain, fast response time, broad frequency bandwidth, excellent actuation durability, as well as excellent biocompatibility, and shows promising applications in biomedical active stents and bioinspired robots.
