摘要

The concept of “Industry 5.0” is complicated, emphasising the combination of cutting-edge technology with human-centric concepts as a catalyst for productivity and innovation. For Industry 5.0 to successfully create value through the seamless interaction of humans and robots, it needs to have strong managerial, technological, and organisational capabilities. The study’s findings came from extensive semi-structured interviews with ten managers working in the automobile industry. The interviews were thoroughly transcribed, and then the NVivo 12 Pro tool was used to conduct a thematic analysis. The essential subjects that clarified the crucial abilities required of managers were confirmed by content analysis. Findings indicate that the industry’s increased human-centricity has resulted from job automation. Robotic automation and artificial intelligence (AI) are used to free up human workers to focus on more innovative, challenging, and valuable tasks that demand human abilities, such as employee empowerment, diversity and inclusion, work–life balance, skills development, lifelong learning, ethics, customer-centricity, and social responsibility. The study emphasises the value of building a resilient organisational culture since it enhances team interactions, strategic thinking, and overall organisational performance in the face of difficulties and ambiguity. Managers need problem-solving abilities and emotional intelligence to develop adaptability and flexibility, support a continuous learning process, and build strong networks. They also require crisis management skills. Another significant finding is that managers’ capabilities to promote sustainability can be supported by Industry 5.0. It emphasises the adoption of sustainable practises, strategic planning with a focus on sustainability, sustainable innovation, and cooperative partnerships for a circular economy model. These techniques can help the industry produce less rubbish and promote sustainable growth. The study’s overall conclusions highlight managers’ crucial role in creating an organisational ecosystem that is human-centric, resilient, and sustainable through the deliberate use of cutting-edge technologies, employee empowerment, and a keen awareness of ethical, environmental, and societal considerations. These findings give businesses important information they may use to embrace Industry 5.0’s potential while keeping moral standards and sustainability goals.
