摘要
With the development of Internet technology, remote control robots have gradually become a research hotspot, with the prospect of many applications. Delays caused by the Internet's complexity and resulting security issues are key issues for remote control robots. In response to this challenge, we built an Internet-based robotic teleoperation system. To achieve efficient data transfer between different local area networks (LANs), we introduce a network address translation (NAT) traversal method and compare the latency with the commonly used relay server method. The experimental results show that using NAT traversal for data transmission can effectively reduce the delay. We apply NAT traversal to the robotic teleoperation system, so that the information interaction between the operator and the robot can be faster, and the impact of the use of the remote control on the operator is minimized.
