Design and Implementation of Autonomous Fire Fighting Robot

One dangerous event that can have many consequences is a fire outbreak. Early detection and extinguishment of a fire can contribute significantly to the prevention of numerous accidents. Historically, our reliance has been on human resources for this task, which often exposes individuals to life-threatening risks. Thus, ensuring fire security emerges as a crucial factor in safeguarding human lives. The proposed and designed fire extinguishing robot is presented in this work. It is capable of locating fires and suppressing them by using a pump to activate sprinklers. Three flame sensors are included inside the robot to provide accurate fire detection. With the use of an Arduino system, this novel Fire Extinguishing Robot model functions independently to detect the presence of fire and put it out without the need for human assistance. When the robot detects a fire, it uses gear motors and a motor driver to control its movement and start the water pump quickly to put out the flames. The robot has a water ejector that can accurately deliver water to the fire, and a servo motor allows the direction of the water ejector pipe to be changed as needed. An Arduino UNO microcontroller manages the entire process.
