Socially Assistive Robots for Individuals Suffering from Dementia

This paper presents a hypothesis-testing pilot study of socially assistive robotics technology [1] aimed at providing affordable personalized cognitive assistance, motivation, and companionship to users suffering from cognitive changes related to aging and/or Alzheimer’s disease.
