摘要

Approximately 16.7% of the global population is afflicted with neurological disorders, while millions of individuals undergo limb amputations annually. A significant proportion of the impacted individuals experience limitations in performing routine activities, including basic errands. Until recently, prosthetic limbs were merely a cosmetic enhancement for the wearer. Due to technological progress, prosthetic limbs possess the capacity to imitate the functionality of authentic limbs. Individuals can employ customized prosthetic arms to replace lost limbs while simultaneously utilizing brain implants to analyze brain signals. Nevertheless, this approach is deemed invasive, hazardous, and exceedingly costly. As a result, a considerable proportion of individuals are unable to obtain this technology. The aim of our scholarly article is to explicate a costefficient and non-intrusive methodology for prostheses controlled by brain waves, which obviates the need for cerebral implants. Brainwave activity has been identified by means of an electroencephalography (EEG) headset, enabling the operation of a robotic arm without the requirement of any intrusive surgical procedures.
