About

Yutaka Nakano is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of surgical robotics and clinical medicine, whose work spans from rehabilitation engineering to advanced hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. His early career contribution includes the development of a 6-degree-of-freedom jaw movement training robot for patients with temporomandibular joint disorders, a novel application of parallel mechanisms in rehabilitation robotics (13 citations).
