About
Woosoon Yim is a robotics and control systems researcher whose work spans flexible robotic manipulators, smart materials, and autonomous systems. Beginning his career with foundational contributions to flexible robot arm control, Yim developed influential methods for dual-mode control and vibration suppression in elastic robotic systems, as well as feedback linearization techniques for differential-algebraic systems governing force and position control of manipulators — work that garnered over 60 combined citations and remains relevant to modern robotics.
