Dr. Valerio Cellini is a pioneering urologic surgeon whose research focuses on advancing robotic-assisted surgery for prostate and kidney cancers. His major contributions center on developing and refining novel surgical techniques that optimize oncologic control while preserving functional outcomes. He is best known for introducing the PERUSIA technique for radical prostatectomy, a posterior, extraperitoneal, robotic approach designed to enhance surgical precision and recovery.
